Bike Safety and Intro To Fitness

Middle Level students started their Fitness Unit with a mini unit on Bike Safety. Students learned the basics of bike safety, maintenance and worked on their cardio respiratory endurance. Students are also preparing for fall fitness gram by working on all 4 fitness components. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back to School in Middle Level PE

Middle School Students have been off to an active start! This year 5-8 students started off the year learning new skills and advanced to different types of teams games.

6th Grade : Ultimate Handball

Welcome Back to P.E!

Welcome back SCS students! We are all so excited to get moving and learning with all of you this school year! Please remember to wear appropriate footwear and attire for your P.E days (sneakers, closed toe shoes, clothes for physical activity). We can't wait for you all to get started learning and improving your skills in our classes!

8th grade PE

This trimester 8th graders finished up creating their own games and taught them to younger students with great success! Winter months concluded with fitness classes at the field house. Students participated in a spin class and had a great workout! Lastly, they have be competing in a badmitton tournament! There has been some very exciting matches and fun and physical activity all around!









7th grade PE

This trimester 7th grade students have been preparing to reach and exceed their wellness goals for the spring fitness gram! The started the trimester with a creative movement unit where they worked collaborative to create a 2 min movement sequence. They they moved on to net wall games to improve upon their volleyball and tennis skills! Lastly, they welcomed UVM women’s field hockey into the class to learn many field hockey skills and drills.





6th grade PE

6th grade students had a fun and active end of winter and beginning of spring! They finished up the winter months with a field trip to Sleepy Hollow Nordic center and a speedstacking tournament! This spring they have been working on volleyball skills and are learning tennis through a local kids on the ball program!
