Students from all over the state gathered together to participated in 4 different events including the mile run, curl ups, push ups, and sit and reach. SCS students portrayed amazing perseverance as each student pushed themselves to achieve their personal best!

Special Thanks to Jude Olson for helping to organize this event and Sam Nelson and Parent Volunteers would not have been such a success without all your help!

VERMONT BUCKS IN P.E.

Vermont BUCKS football players stopped into PE today to motivate 7th grade students as they finished up their fitness gram testing! They lead students through a dynamic warm up prior to exercise. They talked to us about the value of hard work, pushing your self to the best you can be, and the importance of health and fitness.  These 7th grade students really showed perseverance through out class as they complete the test and one student was able to set the school year record for the PACER test in front of the local celebs!!!

Biking on the TI Path

7th grade students did an awesome job of putting their bike safety into action on the Ti Path. They communicated with pedestrians using the appropriate hand signals and terminology for approaching and passing on a bike. Students received and excellent cardio respiratory workout and practiced a lifelong fitness skill!
