Kindergarten, First and Second Graders are working on SHAPE Standard #2. We are finishing up our basketball unit using our dribbling skills to "travel" around the gym spelling our names and classroom sight words. The sight words were posted on the wall so as to keep their heads up dribbling. To differentiate for memory there were also words on the floor to have better memory of the spelling while looking for letters. Ask your students about how and when they needed to do jumping jacks.

Outdoor Skiing Alternative!
Last Friday felt more like Spring than the middle of January! Sixth Grade students took advantage of the warm January weather and participated in a geocaching activity as an alternative to cross country skiing. Students had fun learning how to operative GPS compasses and how to navigate to different way points!
